Amenities:

Dunethin Rock is fully water independent, utilizing tank water and ultraviolet sterilization units throughout the campground. Enjoy the convenience of flushing toilets and gas hot showers with real shower heads, perfect for refreshing yourself after a day filled with adventure and fun.

Hall Hire:

We have a large hall with kitchen available for $2.50 per person, per night in addition to camping fees. Includes, 2 gas 5 burner ovens, walk in cold room, freezer, pots, pans, fold up tables, chairs, large flat screen tv, some crockery and cutlery.

Covered Activity Area and Camp Kitchen:

The covered area is perfect for activities day or night and features an attached camp kitchen equipped with a fridge, sink, two barbeques, bench seats and tables.

Cougar trail:

Experience a delightful short walk through the eucalyptus bushland at our campsite, which also guides you towards the iconic Dunethin Rock, an ideal setting for Scout’s Owns.

Activities:

We can facilitate a variety of engaging activities including:

Crate Stacking – anchor points and cable setup, crates available.

Archery – large, up hill range available.

Canoeing – Canoes for hire with PFDs and Paddles.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) – SUP for hire with paddles and PFD’s.

Raft Building – pioneering spars and barrels available for raft building (BYO Ropes).

NOTE: QBSI requirements can be found on document central of the Scouts QLD website. Guides and some equipment may be available when booked in advance but is dependent on availability.
